Dr. Molly Richardson is a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Population Health Sciences at Virginia Tech. Her research focuses on how the environment affects human health. Specifically, her interest lies in establishing methods for measuring personal heat exposure, investigating relationships between time spent outdoors and steps, and conducting focus groups to understand environmental health priorities. Today she will present some of her dissertation work that examines the extent to which small changes in thermal exposure may influence energy intake in a controlled randomized cross-over design.
